Gwylen pairs with the Oscelda, Garren Rood, Orengall, and Wyld Oscelda pacts and is one of only three Virtue-gate-free starter weapons (alongside Thistle and Nettle), making it the default pick for new Spirit casters. Lore describes it as an alder witching-staff hand-shaped — not carved — by Aureli gardeners over a lifetime, tuned to channel magic through its living curves.

Stultin is an Uncommon cleaver-style Long Blade requiring 16 Courage, themed around the ancient Mockery lore. With 53 base ATK, 34 stagger, and 3% smite, it serves as a mid-game bridge before Marrow's Bane (21 Courage, 54 ATK). Farm fragments from Armoured Mockery, Deadwood Mockery, or Impidh Mockery. Dendrit Chests in the Glades provide a supplemental drop table. Craft at Tuvalkane with Scrap Brass, Ichor, and Corrupt Onyx (10h). Purchase from Avakot for 235 Dracs. Stultin fills the Courage cleaver progression gap between Falx (12 Courage, 54 ATK) and Marrow's Bane (21 Courage, 54 ATK) — offering 16 Courage gate with 53 ATK, only 1 ATK less than both alternatives. The lore describes Stultin as a cut and rusted sword from an unremembered battle, filed flat in falchion style with a petrified wooden hilt. The glowing runes etched into settled rust suggest the blade's power persists beyond its physical decay. Effective in Crypt of the Circade content and against Mockery-type enemies where the ancient blade's resonance deals bonus damage. Pairs with Tethren melee builds for high-stagger cleaver combos.
