Craft at Tuvalkane using Knotwood×25 and Sproutfolk Frond×25 (10h). The thrusting heavy attack extends reach beyond standard slash arcs, making it effective against Mockery-type foes that resist lateral swings. Post-Preludes 15: 48 ATK, 30 poise break, 5% smite chance. Serves as the first real Courage longsword upgrade from the starter Wulder, bridging into the Etheldred fragment line shared with Clivers and Virdigris.

Post-Preludes 15: 46 ATK, 92 charged, 24 stagger, 3% smite. Whole-weapon previews can appear on the ground from Barrels, Baskets, Crates, and Sword Racks while you farm early routes. P15 preview flow: pick up ground previews in Nightfold, dismantle for Chordstones, refine at Tuvalkane when you want Temper rolls. Upgrade path on pure Courage Tethren lines: Vetch (11 Courage) or Falx when virtue allows; compare Oryn-Umbr if you want a throwable shield hybrid.
