How Runes Work in Soulframe
Endgame gear uses Runes, Enchanting, and Reforging (Joinery) at the Nightfold forge — alongside Oden Tempering.
Runes
- Socket-style upgrades on eligible weapons/armour.
- Often tied to rare metals like Moranite (farm guide).
Enchanting
- Adds or rerolls magical affixes on crafted gear.
- Plan queues with the craft timer — jobs run in real time.
Reforging (Joinery)
- Adds or replaces a Virtue attunement pip on a weapon.
- Interacts with Virtue investment — do not reforge your only DPS weapon before a boss gate.
Workflow order (suggested)
- Craft base weapon at Tuvalkane
- Temper / upgrade (Oden guide)
- Enchant for affixes
- Socket runes last so you do not brick a work-in-progress piece
