Quick verdict
Preludes 15 homepage pair — both are official Ode'n weapons that drop fully built with Craftwork and Tempers.
Pick Ilverac if you want the lower Courage gate (12) and a Long Blade for faster light-melee patterns (52 ATK, 34 stagger, 8% smite). Farm Gruul Seeker Ruthos or Sinecure-errant Vella; preview rolls before pickup.
Pick Veilk for polearm reach and heavier stagger (59 ATK, 60 stagger, 5% smite, Courage 13). Primary route is Discharged Nimrod on the Brewer of Hues line — same Ode rotation as many Sinecure farms.
Neither replaces Purity (68 ATK greatsword — Mendicant King whole drop + Reforge) or a god-roll Orst-III mace — but for fresh P15 accounts, Ilverac is the easier entry sword while Veilk is the better stagger polearm. Refine both at Tuvalkane with Chordstones .
Weapon overview Ilverac Long Blades · Courage · Common
Ode'n long blade (Courage 12, Common). Added in Preludes 15: Gods & Ghosts (2026-06-10). Lowest Courage gate among P15 Ode swords — 52 ATK, 104 charged attack, 34 stagger, 8% smite. Primary farm: **Gruul Seeker Ruthos** (whole weapon previews with Craftwork and Tempers on the ground). Alternates: Sinecure-errant Vella, Gruul Seeker Sontaro, Sinecure Officer, elite soldiers, and Polearm Racks across Midrath sieges. Not sold at Wares of Zenith (community-verified). P15 loop: preview on ground → Nightfold dismantle for Lampyrite → **Chordstone Refine** at Tuvalkane (Ichor×20, Quenching Acid×20, Corrupt Onyx×20, Joinery×1, Verite or Gildaur, 2,500 Dracs, Bond 2, Instant). Pair with **Veilk** polearm on the same Sinecure rotations. HF5 fixed Tuvalkane Chordstone tab listing.

Veilk Polearms · Courage · Uncommon
Uncommon Ode'n Polearm requiring 13 Courage, with 59 ATK and 60 stagger. Farm whole-weapon previews from Discharged Nimrod, then refine keepers with Chordstones at Tuvalkane. Fragment sources span a wide range of Sinecure and Ode'n foes — Discharged Nimrod, Ichorous Wardog, Fore-Feller Hewyl, Gruul Seeker Sontaro, and all three Sinecure Knight variants — plus Polearm Racks scattered through camps and the Sovereign merchant's 150-Drac purchase option. That breadth makes Veilk one of the more accessible early Polearms to complete without committing to a single farm route, and the whole-weapon preview system means most drops arrive ready to use rather than needing fragment assembly.
