How to Change Factions in Soulframe
You are not locked to your first Enclave forever, but switching has costs.
Requirements
- Complete The Torment Stag and unlock the faction system (overview).
- Access the Faction UI from your inventory / social menu (label varies by patch).
What usually happens
- Standing with the old faction may freeze or decay — read the confirmation dialog carefully.
- Shop stock changes to the new faction's inventory.
- Some cosmetics and titles stay unlocked; rank-gated recipes may require re-grinding standing.
When to switch
- Your build needs a Rank 5 recipe only sold by another faction.
- You want a different Faction Tale boss farm (Agari route).
When to stay
- You are close to the next rank reward.
- Your Garren Rood farm route depends on current tales.
Always screenshot your standing before switching; verify rules in-client after updates.
