How to Beat Torment Stag
Phase overview
Main story gate boss after Lady Deora. Charge attacks and antler swings are the primary threats — always dodge sideways, never backward into the arena wall. P16 adds unblockable attacks to Garren Rood and Vadagar Stag; the patch does not identify every affected move. Do not assume a full-block or full-parry strategy is safe.
Angriffe und Konter
| Attack | How to counter |
|---|---|
| Antler Swings | Dodge back or move away. |
| Charging Thrust | Dodge immediately on charge wind-up. |
| Antler Impale | Back away when it rises on hind legs. |
| Raging Stomp | Stay out of range — unblockable. |
| Glowing Projectiles | Keep moving, dodge or jump over them. |
~1 phase
No Repeat Farm
Story progression gate. Farm between respawns for Agari materials.
Tips
- P16 unblockable moves: check the actual telegraph and dodge; individual newly affected attacks require client verification.
- Dodge sideways on all charge attacks, never backwards
- Grace builds with ranged weapons have highest safe DPS windows
- Susceptible to stagger — heavy weapons effective
- Re-read patch notes after hotfixes — Preludes 15 loot and scaling change frequently.
- Pair with Agari timer and siege schedule when farming rare mats from this encounter.
Recommended pacts
Recommended Pact: Tethren — Courage melee with high stagger output — fastest kill if comfortable with dodge timing
Recommended Pact: Garren Rood — Stampede ability deals high burst during charge recovery windows
Recommended stats
Grace ranged or Courage melee with stagger tools; heavy weapons for stagger windows.
