Can I upgrade weapons?

Yes. Crafting a weapon from fragments is separate from upgrading an existing weapon. In P16, use Enhance Craftwork with Chordstones to raise quality. For individual Tempers, finish The Steelsinger before dismantling to learn them (10 points each; single 1, doubled 2), then use Strike with a Level 30 compatible target and Tuvalkane Rank 3. Any Craftwork is eligible within its slot cap; each Strike costs 1 Glow, 1 Amber and 1 Faer Lampyrite.

Gystalt

Q: Are Gystalt overheat rotations and damage bonuses verified?

No. The captured Wiki describes held lightning and an area Heavy Cast, but its overheat multipliers, thresholds and vent technique remain community observations rather than verified recommendations. The Thunderstorm bonus amount is TBD. The source stat rows are Level 0/30, label Fully Charged Cast separately and omit throw values; missing values are not zero. The old auto-fire bug note is not confirmed current after the P16 HF4 Blessed Meeting fix.

Q: Can I compare these Level 0 and Level 30 weapon stats directly?

Do not mix levels, damage caps, unspecified Craftwork or different equipment roles to pick a winner. Grimana, Wreath and Gystalt preserve separate Wiki Level 0 and Level 30 rows. Star tier is not rarity or Craftwork. Old catalog values with unspecified level/Craftwork are reference numbers, not a compatible basis for a DPS ranking.

Staff form, Magick combat art, primary Weapon slot; requires Spirit 11.
Hold Attack for continuous lightning; Heavy Cast calls an area lightning strike. Community-source mechanics, not client-tested DPS.
Wiki reports Ode’n Starcaster variants, Conductor and chest sources; no first-craft recipe or throw values are captured.

Community Wiki source review: Gystalt is a 2-Star Ode'n Staff with Magick combat art and Voltaic damage, requiring Spirit 11. Its charged stat is Fully Charged Cast; no throw values are captured. Not client verified.
