Mora's Hand · fire DPS
Overview
Mora's Hand is a Courage-based Pact focused on fire damage and AoE destruction. The three Arcanics create a powerful combo loop: Ember provides passive fire retaliation, Ignus Wroth sets the ground ablaze, and Inferno deals massive bonus damage to already-burning enemies. A flashy, aggressive Pact that excels at clearing groups.
- Pact: Mora's Hand
- Virtue: Courage (invest all points here)
- Playstyle: Fire AoE DPS, combo-based, aggressive
How to unlock Mora's Hand
Purchase the recipe from the Kith of Kings faction at Rank 5 for 4,000 Standing. Craft at Tuvalkane (Bond Level 3 required).
Core loadout
- Blitzel — Courage-attuned Bow. One of the highest DPS bows in Soulframe. Pairs well with Ignus Wroth for ranged fire combos.
- Wulder — Courage-attuned melee. Good for triggering Ember retaliation in close range.
- Grinn — Courage-attuned sidearm for close-range burst.
- Ember — Grace Arcanic. When enemies hit you, unleashes a fire AoE attack around you. Passive retaliation that rewards aggressive positioning.
- Ignus Wroth — Spirit Arcanic. Casts a field of flame on the ground that damages enemies within range. Sets enemies on fire for Inferno combo.
- Inferno — Courage Arcanic. Fires a fireball dealing massive Fire damage. Deals bonus damage to enemies already on fire — the core combo finisher.
How to play it
- The combo loop: Ignus Wroth → Inferno — set enemies on fire first with Ignus Wroth, then hit them with Inferno for massive bonus damage. This is your primary damage rotation.
- Apply Ember early — the passive retaliation triggers automatically when hit. In melee range, this adds significant free damage.
- Position Ignus Wroth on chokepoints — doorways, corridors, and spawn points. Enemies walking through take continuous fire damage.
- Use Blitzel from range — fire Arrow Hail into Ignus Wroth zones for devastating AoE, then follow up with Inferno on burning targets.
- Courage investment maximises Inferno damage — all Virtue points into Courage for maximum fireball scaling.
When to use a different build
- When you need survivability — Mora's Hand has no defensive or healing Arcanics. Against tough bosses, consider Ode Tempest (Atmos Sphere immunity) or bring an Oscelda healer.
- Single-target burst — the fire combo takes time to set up. For instant burst on a single target, Sirin's backstab or Ode Tempest's Seismor are faster.
