Free Virtue per loadout since Virtue Lith removal. Who should pick Tethren: aggressive melee players who want Fellust stack uptime and Call of the Ancients taunt windows. Best for those who enjoy trading blows and escalating damage in sustained engagements. Grace route (Arrow Hails) is clunky and clears Fellust stacks — stick to Courage or Spirit for PvE. Weapon path: open on Wulder (forgiving Courage long blade), upgrade toward Falx for heavier swings or Needleseye for burst windows. Filter the Builds hub by pact=tethren for melee bruiser loadouts. Virtue is free per loadout — allocate Courage without penalty.
Tethren was rated B in community P10 tier lists due to a Fellust bug preventing damage scaling. After the fix, Fellust's consecutive-melee stacking turned Tethren Courage into a PvE bulldozer (OrbisNull SS). The P11 video discussed Tethren's rising trajectory post-fix. The site's S tier reflects the P15 community consensus, higher than the P11 video's mid-tier placement.
