Unnamed regions on your map unlock when you collect History Motes (glowing moths).
Rules (Preludes 15)
- One Mote per area per in-game day — revisit tomorrow if you miss it.
- Your Sparrow often circles near the spawn.
- Spectral Sight makes Motes easier to spot at night.
- Collecting the Mote labels the region and grants a small lore entry.
Tips
- Clear nearby camps first — Motes will not wait during combat.
- Pair with beginner exploration habits.
- After names appear, plan farming routes and Agari loops more efficiently.
Verify daily reset timing in-client after patches.
