How to Find a Party in Soulframe (4-Player Co-op)

Recruiting chat · 4 players · no queue

If you cleared the Beginner's guide and want to tackle Torment Stag, Agari, or Siege events with others, this page explains how parties work in Preludes 14.5 — and what changes when Preludes 15 adds World Tree meet-ups.

How Soulframe multiplayer works today

Soulframe is co-op first, not an MMO with a public queue. You can run up to four Envoys in one party (raised from three in Preludes 14.5). Enemy levels scale up with party size, so larger groups should expect tougher fights, not a free carry.

There is no matchmaking in the current build: you invite friends or strangers you meet through chat or Discord.

Verify in client: party caps, chat tabs, and invite UI change every few Preludes.

Step 1 — Turn on the right chat channels

  1. Open chat and select the Recruiting tab — this is where most LFG (“looking for group”) posts live.
  2. Optional: enable Region chat under Settings → Social if you want zone-wide text (still not auto-matchmaking).
  3. Avoid posting access-key requests in Recruiting; use official channels instead.

Step 2 — Find players outside the game

Many groups form on the official Discord (discord.gg/playsoulframe) recruiting channel, then move to in-game invites. That pattern matters because Soulframe does not yet drop you into a random squad for open-world bosses.

Step 3 — Invite and sync goals

  • Confirm which Fable, boss, or siege you are running — progression often follows the host instance.
  • Bring consumables and a second weapon if you followed the early-game checklist.
  • For loot routes, agree whether you are farming materials or pushing story.

World Trees: travel now, social hub soon

In 14.5, World Trees clear fog and unlock Wevetseed fast travel when you remove the spear — solo progression, no party finder on the tree itself.

Preludes 15 preview (not live): Devstream 15 showed players at a World Tree seeing other instances, inspecting gear, and sending party invites. Read the P15 preview until patch notes confirm the flow.

What to run in a party (quick links)

| Content | Guide | |---------|--------| | First major boss | Torment Stag | | World bosses | Agari locations & route | | Castles / Infamy | Siege gameplay | | Dungeons | Crypt of the Circade · Dermak Undercity |

Solo remains viable; co-op mainly adds damage and revive safety.
