Material Farming Routes

Data policy (Preludes 15): Drop tables and merchant prices follow wiki.avakot.org as synced on our item pages. Weapon acquisition changed in P15 — most gear drops fully built with Tempers; see Preludes 15 notes. Verify routes in your client.

Farming Basics

Material farming in Soulframe revolves around three sources: open-world gathering, dungeon chests, and enemy drops. Efficient farming means knowing which source is best for each material and planning routes that cover multiple nodes.

Ways to acquire materials: exploration chests, quest completion, enemy kills, breaking containers (barrels/crates), and purchasing from merchants.

Crafting takes real time: weapons and upgrades at Tuvalkane (and Oden Tempering at the Nightfold forge) queue in the background — start a craft before you leave for a Crypt or Agari loop. See Oden & Tempering for endgame metal costs.

Gossamer Quartz (Uncommon)

Recommended route

1. Guaranteed key: complete Pay Respects Sparrow's Tale — Grave Digger step (Avakot).
2. Supplement from Basic Chests, Crypt Sarcophagi, and overworld foes on the Crypt Key page — foe drops are extremely rare (Avakot).
3. Hotfix 4: Crypt Keys no longer drop from dungeon Rare Chests — do not rely on that route.
4. Enter Crypt of the Circade and open sarcophagi (community: ~50% quartz — verify).
5. Backup: Avakot when he spawns (150 Dracs per Avakot wiki).

Suggested loop (Avakot-aligned — verify drops)

1. Primary: Mockeries + Crypt Sarcophagi southeast of Fort Kearnhold — community relog loop; often paired with Sappheline. Details on the Moranite item page.
2. Timed: Fort Kearnhold siege (~3h) — ranked Moranite after burning the Skylantern.
3. Overworld: Collector Crates, Glades Dendrit chests, or Hark the Collector rows on the item page.
4. Cogah supplement: drink The Cogah Elixir before Agari on the world-boss-agari route — not the only Moranite path.
5. Buy-out: Avakot 1,500 Dracs or Kith of Kings bundles (Avakot wiki).

Weapons & Tempers (Preludes 15)

Live in Preludes 15: Most 1-star and 2-star weapons drop fully built from enemies, chests, and activities — preview Craftwork and Tempers before pickup. 3-star paths split: Marrow's Bane, Gathannan, etc. still use fragments → craft at Tuvalkane; Purity drops whole from Mendicant King, then Reforge (instant). Forged results get random Craftwork. Refine favourites with Chordstones (farm Lampyrites from sieges, Cogah, chests). See Preludes 15 notes.

Farm Lampyrites from sieges (Mirifuir, Kearnhold, Curlail, Turret Jotar), Cogah Agari kills, and dungeon Rare Chests — Hotfix 8 raised Lampyrite rates in Dermak Undercity, Rovgot (Fallen Skycastle), and Glades of Andurin. 4. Requires completing The Steelsinger quest first for the forge unlock

• Breaking containers: Barrels and crates are the most consistent Dracs source

Ode'n Moaners (XP Farming)

Special rock structures found near water.

Farming Method

• Locate Ode'n Moaners (strange rock structures near water)
• Destroy both of their heads
• Grants weapon XP (community-reported — verify in your client)
• Reloading the area resets them for repeated farming

Recommended Use

• Quick weapon leveling without combat difficulty
• No combat skill required, suitable for low-level characters
• Weapons level to 30, unlocking Combat Art points

Agari World Bosses

Mini-bosses across Midrath. Avakot indexes 16 Agari (10 overworld map pins + 6 dungeon-only) with 30-minute respawn — plus three siege waypoints (~3h) and separate event rows that do not use the Agari timer.

Recommended Strategy

1. Use the Agari Timer for 30 min overworld/dungeon Agari only
2. Gather ore nodes and break containers while traveling between spawns
3. Co-op kills are faster — learn each boss's 2–3 attack patterns
4. Pair siege loops when Agari rows are on cooldown (see world-boss-agari)
