Siege of Turret Jotar

Turret Jotar is the fourth siege in Preludes 15 — a Clan Jotar watchtower over the Kith sanctuary. Expect randomized objectives and Ode countermeasures. This is the hardest of the four siege events per community consensus, with mixed Ode/Sinecure waves and a tower-defence objective phase.

Schedule

• Listed on World Tree Votive Shrines when active.
• Community reference: ~3-hour cooldown between runs — verify in your client.
• Siege order: Mirifuir → Kearnhold → Fort Curlail → Turret Jotar (rotating cycle). Track via Boss Progression.

Objectives (P15)

You no longer need to wipe every enemy for S-rank — complete the rotating objective set and burn the Skylantern to claim rewards.

Common objective types:

• Defend the Skylantern: Hold the central platform against Ode waves. AoE builds excel here.
• Destroy supply caches: Break marked Ode supply points around the watchtower perimeter.
• Eliminate the commander: A named Ode officer spawns after 60% objective completion.
• S-rank requires all objectives completed within the time limit — speed matters more than kill count.

Tips

• Bring AoE for mixed Ode waves; save burst for objective phases.
• Rotate with Mirifuir / Kearnhold / Curlail — see siege gameplay.
• Between cooldowns: Hark, the Collector (~6 h) on the events index.
• Use the tower elevation to scout incoming waves — the Skylantern platform offers sight lines to all approach paths.

Loadout recommendations

• Primary weapon: AoE-capable (two-handed or Spirit-scaling) for wave clearing.
• Secondary weapon: Single-target burst for the Ode commander at the end.
• Pact: Tethren (melee AoE sustain) or Oscelda (Spirit AoE) for objective defence phases.

Warnings

• Full inventory & Faction Votives (Hotfix 9) — HF9 partially fixed Faction Votive completion when your bag is full; Votive weapon rewards must be picked up manually. Clear weapon slots before accepting a Votive at a World Tree shrine.
• Gear loss after Siege — Players still report weapons or loadout items vanishing when Turret Jotar (or any Siege) ends. Stow irreplaceable gear in the Nightfold before queueing.
• Inventory saves at Nightfold (Hotfix 1) — Lampyrite, Grinn, Unsula, and other Siege loot only commit to your inventory after you return to Nightfold. Do not log out mid-route expecting a full save.
• Dismantling outside Nightfold — HF1 blocked open-world dismantling while save bugs were addressed. Wait until Nightfold before breaking down preview weapons from this Siege.
