350 cap · HF15 exemptions · pickup rules
TL;DR: Soulframe caps Inventory Capacity at 350 slots — 50 base + 300 purchasable with Arcs from Zenith's Wares. Since Hotfix 15 (Aug 19, 2026), Fable/mini-quest grants, Zenith purchases, and the Circade set no longer use capacity; world/siege drop pickups still do. Free slots by dismantling drops on-site, and judge each pickup by quality and Temper count.
The official Hotfix 15 notes define the maximum as 350 Inventory Capacity — "50 base + 300 purchasable" from Zenith's Wares.
Official forum post 2026-08-19 — Hotfix 15, topic #14922 (Preludes 15 notes — Hotfix 15):
| Source | Uses capacity? |
|---|---|
| Fables — direct grants of weapons/armour/Pacts (not Fragments or craftables) | No — exempted in HF15 |
| Mini-Quests rewards | No — exempted in HF15 |
| Zenith's Wares purchases | No — exempted in HF15 |
| Crypt of the Circade Set | No — exempted in HF15; duplicate acquisitions fixed and existing duplicates removed from accounts |
| Premium / Founders purchases | Exemption announced — official wording is "will take effect at a later date", so not live yet: Founders purchases still occupy capacity for now |
| World / siege drop pickups | Yes — still require free capacity |
Two related fixes shipped in the same hotfix:
Players within 50 slots of the 350 cap cannot buy the remaining capacity from Zenith's Wares — the purchase is blocked before you reach the maximum. This is not fixed yet: the official Hotfix 15 notes state the fix is targeted for Preludes 16 ("we're working towards getting this fixed with Preludes 16"). Until then:
You can dismantle in two places, and the rules differ (community-sourced, consistent with the official Nightfold crafting flow):
Drop quality follows a chain (community-compiled; note this is the drop quality ladder — distinct from the Stock/Noble migration labels for pre-P15 gear, see Chordstone refining):
Military → Officer → Noble → Sovereign → Legendary
Community consensus on what to pick up (three independent community sources agree — treat as strong guidance, verify in-game):
A session-shaped triage routine, assembled from the community-sourced rules on this page (deeper video-transcribed routines will be appended as transcripts land):
More hands-on routines (loadout-era hoarding, duplicate trading flows) to be appended when the pending community video transcripts are logged.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Can I exceed 350 slots? | No — 350 (50 base + 300 purchasable) is the current maximum per the official Hotfix 15 notes. |
| Do Zenith purchases use capacity? | No — since Hotfix 15, items bought from Zenith's Wares no longer take up Inventory Capacity. |
| Is the 350 purchase bug fixed? | Not yet. Players within 50 slots of the cap cannot buy the remaining capacity; the official target for the fix is Preludes 16. |
| Do Founders/premium purchases use capacity? | For now, yes — the retroactive exemption was announced with Hotfix 15 but takes effect "at a later date". |
| Where can I dismantle? | Drops can be dismantled on-site without picking them up; items already in your bag can only be dismantled at the Nightfold. |
| Should I pick up Sovereign duplicates? | Community consensus: yes — Sovereign is one refine step from Legendary and refining saves materials versus starting from a lower tier. |
| Do Fable rewards use capacity? | Direct grants (weapons/armour/Pacts) from Fables, Mini-Quests, and Zenith purchases no longer do — but Fragments and craftables still do. |
