- Unlock in 3 steps: beat the Wazzard of Wastes in The Waste Bear fable for your first Wevetseed, find a World Tree, pull the spear.
- Each trip costs one Wevetseed — the only repeatable source is The Wise Elm in Nightfold every 12 hours; no merchant sells them.
- Limits: only between activated trees, individual progression, no party teleport — full rules below.
Unlock steps · Wevetseed cost · travel limits
Fast travel in Soulframe (Preludes 15) is the World Tree + Wevetseed network: pull spears from World Trees to clear map fog and unlock teleport points, then spend a Wevetseed to jump between activated trees. This page is the how-to — the 3-step unlock, the verified World Tree node list, and every travel restriction. For the systems deep-dive (fog vs region names, World Tree vs Enclave), see World Trees & Fast Travel.
Search intent: Searching how to unlock fast travel in Soulframe or Soulframe World Tree locations? The 3-step unlock is right below — restrictions and the verified node list follow.
Quick Answer — unlock fast travel in 3 steps
- Get your first Wevetseed — complete The Waste Bear fable and defeat the Wazzard of Wastes. The first bundle is a guaranteed, one-time story drop (Wevetseed item page).
- Find a World Tree — a dead tree with a spear embedded in its trunk. Trees appear naturally while exploring; there is no quest gate before the first one. Community maps pin each tree — see the Midrath map tools.
- Pull the spear and activate the network — the surrounding map fog clears, the tree joins your fast-travel network, and you can spend a Wevetseed to travel between any two activated World Trees.
Every trip consumes one Wevetseed. After The Waste Bear, The Wise Elm in your Nightfold regrows every 12 hours — the only repeatable source. No merchant sells Wevetseed.
All World Tree locations (verified list)
Our catalog verifies the network mechanics and the World-Tree-adjacent nodes below — it does not track coordinates for every individual tree. For live pins, use the community maps in the Midrath map guide; in-game, find trees by exploring (dead trees with spears — hold Spectral Sight to spot interactables).
| Node | Location | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| World Trees (network nodes) | Scattered across Midrath — community map pins | Pull the spear: clears area fog + joins the Wevetseed travel network |
| The Wise Elm | Nightfold, near Verminia's post | Repeatable Wevetseed source — regrows every 12h after The Waste Bear |
| World Tree Votive | Roods | World-event accept point — Hark the Collector (~6h) and the Fungal Lord quest |
| World Tree Shrine | Siege schedule board | Shows live siege windows — see Siege gameplay |
For what a World Tree is not — Revive Shrines (respawn checkpoints) and Enclaves (faction hubs) — see the comparison tables in World Trees & Fast Travel.
Fast travel restrictions & costs
- Only between activated trees — Wevetseed travel is not a full-map teleport. You can only jump to trees whose spears you have already pulled.
- One Wevetseed per trip — community catalog records a stack cap of 100 (verify in-client after patches).
- No merchant source — first bundle from the Wazzard of Wastes (one-time), then The Wise Elm every 12h. That is the complete list of sources.
- Individual progression — fast travel is per-player. There is no party teleport; to play together, join the same instance via chat invite (Multiplayer & co-op).
- No mounts in Preludes 15 — mount-based travel is not implemented; the World Tree network is the only fast travel (TennoCon teasers only).
- World Tree is not a Revive Shrine — Revive Shrines are respawn checkpoints; World Trees are map-unlock and travel nodes. They look similar but serve entirely different purposes.
Pre-Alpha note: mount and travel mechanics are marked
verified: falsein our catalog — expect changes after Preludes 15.
