Farming Basics

Material farming in Soulframe revolves around three sources: open-world gathering, dungeon chests, and enemy drops. Efficient farming means knowing which source is best for each material and planning routes that cover multiple nodes.

Ways to acquire materials: exploration chests, quest completion, enemy kills, breaking containers (barrels/crates), and purchasing from merchants.

Crafting takes real time: weapons and upgrades at Tuvalkane (and Oden Tempering at the Nightfold forge) queue in the background — start a craft before you leave for a Crypt or Agari loop. See Oden & Tempering for endgame metal costs.

Weapon Fragments

Preludes 15 preview (not live): Devstream 15 announced most weapons will drop crafted with Tempers, and Fragments will be phased out for most gear. See Preludes 15 preview before you change your farm plan. Below reflects Preludes 14.5.

Weapons don't drop directly — you collect Fragments to craft them at Tuvalkane's station.

• No combat skill required, suitable for low-level characters
• Weapons level to 30, unlocking Combat Art points
