Life Elixirs (Preludes 15)
Life Elixirs are your primary heal consumable. Preludes 15 changed how they work — not just how often they drop.
New behaviour
- Drink → heal a percentage of maximum Life immediately.
- Then a heal-over-time (HoT) ticks until you are fully healed.
- Taking damage stops the HoT — re-position before you chug in boss AoE.
- Drinking another elixir while HoT is active speeds the remaining HoT (official patch).
Carry limit
Still capped (historically 5 slots) — the Physic Pact Art (renamed from Healer) can raise how many you carry.
Drop rate
P15 reduced world drop chance (especially in Cogah). Farm chests and Collector Crates instead of expecting every mob to drop pots — see item page farmMethod.
When to use
| Situation | Tip | |-----------|-----| | Boss rot / AoE | Heal after you leave the pool — HoT will cancel if hit | | Between pulls | HoT is efficient — one pot can top you fully if uninterrupted | | Regain window | Yellow Regain bar still rewards melee — boss mechanics |
